Baby Shower

The church had a baby shower for us last Sunday afternoon. What a treat! Most people don't have showers after their first child, but our church does baby showers no matter what child it is. How awesome is that?! We were excited to get some new things - some cute new outfits, diapers, toys, bath stuff, books and a few things for Addison. The hostesses gave me a gift card for a massage and for Eddie Bauer. I was very excited! They both sound really great - I don't know which I want to do first! Thanks to everyone for all the wonderful gifts. It was fun!

The high school youth sponsors also put together a little surprise baby shower for us last Wednesday night at youth group. The youth brought gifts for us and we also played a game called "Guess the Baby." They put up baby pictures of several of the youth and sponsors and we had to guess who they were. It was fun to see who each baby was. We were excited to see so many of the youth taking an interest in Mackenna and wanting to hold her. It definitely made us feel loved!
