Laundry Room

Our laundry room was too boring!
It's not a big room at all, but it needed some color.
We painted the cupboards several months ago.
I love how they turned out, but they just blended in with the off white walls.

Here's a before picture, although I forgot to take a picture before I started!

I finally finished today!
I finished everything except behind the washer/dryer last week.
Needed Travis' help with pulling them out and we finally had time to do that this morning!

The picture doesn't quite look it, but the color is actually turquoise.
Now I need to find some things to hang on the walls in there!
I have a few things in mind!

Embroidery

Not long ago, I bought my first embroidery project.  I loved this print, so I thought I would give it a try!  I plan to frame it now that I'm done.

I really enjoyed it, much more than I thought I would.  Every time Travis would see me working on it, he would tell me I was becoming like his mother! (She's always working on some sewing project!)

Time for a Project

I like to do projects, especially when Travis and I can do them together.  We've wanted to work on our upstairs for quite some time.  It's one big, long room, so it's taken me awhile to figure out what I want to do and what I want it to look like.  I've finally come up with a plan and the first part to that was picking a paint color.  I finally decided and purchased the paint today.  I'm hoping to start painting tonight and finish over the next few days.  Then I can start on the rest of it!  Maybe I'll have to take some before and after pictures.  It feels good to finally know what I want to do up there!
