What a Difference a Few Hours Make
Last night around 7:00, I wrote how we were listing our house with a realtor because we had found a house to rent. Well, Ann (the realtor) came over to our house around 8:00 to go through the paperwork with us and have us sign it all. We were sitting at the table with her when the phone rang. Travis went and answered it and when he came back he said we had just gotten an offer on the house! How strange to be sitting there with the realtor wondering what we should do now. She was laughing about it though and said "that's never happened to me before!" We ended up making a counter offer and he accepted. Since Ann had already done a lot of paperwork for us, we didn't feel it would be right to just say "see ya later," so we are paying her a minimal amount to write up the contract for us and do the paperwork. This is good anyway, since we weren't exactly sure what we were doing anyhow. What an answer to prayer!! A few weeks ago, I decided to start praying very specifically about the house. We had a house that we were looking to buy, but we weren't sure, so I prayed that if we were supposed to get that house, ours would sell by the end of the day on Sunday (the 22nd). I told Travis and said, "but what if we get an offer on Monday, then what?" Well, God didn't want me to question that because on Monday he provided us with a house to rent and last night we accepted an offer on our house. God's timing is amazing! We are getting ready to go sign the contract so now we just pray that everything will go smoothly. And then, we're going out to lunch to celebrate!!

WOW!! What an amazing God we serve. I am always in awe (even after all these years) how God's way is better than man. Congrats. I know that it hard to see you move, but it is what is in the Master's Plan.
Lisa, we're so happy that things went through...in God's time...despite the frustrations. Now comes the fun part...PACKING! Haha. We'll have to come have Addison over to play so you can get lots done without a helper nearby. :)
