We're home from South Dakota and had a great time. We really enjoyed seeing our friends from Oregon and catching up with them. It was like we never left! Our days were full of fun activities. The first day we went to see Devil's Tower National Monument in Wyoming. We hiked the trail around it and even saw two people on the side climbing it. Then we went to Deadwood where Travis was able to see Wild Bill Hickok's grave and some Wild West history. Most of the next day was spent at Mt. Rushmore. Because of the 30, 000+ people that come for the fireworks, you have to get there early. The fireworks were awesome! On the last day, Travis & I went with all the kids to see some waterfalls. We hiked a little bit and then they swam in the icy cold water. And of course, in the evenings, we played cards and unfortunately the women weren't as successful this time as we would have liked. Below are some of our pictures. Our friend took some great pictures of the fireworks and ours didn't turn out so well, so I'll put some of them on when I get them.
