We called them helicopter seeds when I was young because when you throw them in the air they spin like helicopters.I think they come from maple trees.
Addison loved throwing them up in the air and watching them spin.
She tried to catch them.
Mackenna was very entertained watching her!
Tonight on our walk, she wanted to stop every time she saw some and get off her bike so she could throw them.

Aren't kids amazing! Such a simple thing, one of God's creations, to provide so much fun. Maybe I'll start saving ours, we have millions, and save them for Addison.
The wind really brings these down.
