Kite Flying

We were at my parents last week and Addison brought her kite with her so she could fly it with Grandpa M. She was so excited about showing him her princess kite and seeing his pirate ship kite. It didn't look good as every day we woke up to either rain or no wind. No wind is unheard of for a whole week! It was finally windy the day we were leaving, so we went over to a big parking lot that morning. It wasn't just windy, it was too windy! My dad's kite crashed right away and Addison's would go up in the air for a little bit and dive straight to the ground. Her kite eventually broke because of the strong wind (and it was a cheap kite!) It didn't last long, but we still had fun. Hopefully next time the weather will cooperate better!
