My grandparents would be celebrating their 70th anniversary today if they were still here with us. It's always been an easy date for me to remember. I'm sure they didn't dream when they got married on December 7th how important this date would become only one year later. They were married in Michigan and lived there their entire married life. They had 4 children and were married for 58 years when my grandpa passed away.
This picture was taken in 1997 and is the only picture of them I can find. I know I have some older pictures of them somewhere, but I've looked in the attic and can't find them. I wish I had a wedding picture!
