Summer List

Here's our list for this summer.  Some new ideas, some the same as last year.  It's fun to listen to what they say they want to do this summer!

Summer List 2012

We made our summer list!  It was fun to hear what they came up with this year.  A lot of them were the same as last year, but they did come up with some new ones too.  And it was interesting to hear what they each thought should be on the list.  For instance, Addison didn't want to put "play with playdough" on the list, but Mackenna did, so we put it on the list.  And we've added a few more since then!

TeePee...

One more thing checked off the summer list this weekend...sleeping in their teepee!  Poor Mackenna wasn't feeling well though and didn't last too long.

Swimming

We bought a family pass to the swimming pool for the first time this summer. It was nice to be able to go whenever we wanted. The girls both improved a lot in their swimming. Addison is now swimming on her own and Mackenna loves the water and wants to do everything Addison does.  We only have a few days left to enjoy the pool!

2011 Summer List

I saw this idea on this blog several years ago and thought it would be a fun thing to do each summer.  Addison was finally old enough this year to come up with a list of things she wants to do.  I've had to explain to her that we will try our best to do all of them and that we can't do them all on the same day!  We've already checked a few things off the list and have added a few things too.
