Yesterday we had the privilege of honoring a soldier that was killed in Iraq on Easter Sunday. It was wonderful to see the support from the community as the procession made its way through town from the airport to the funeral home. He was only 26 years old and leaves behind a wife and a one year old son. His family attends our church and our pastor will be doing the funeral. My heart ached for his family as they drove by. I am thankful for the opportunity to show our respect to this man and am grateful for his service to our country. (We took the top two pictures from where we were standing; the other two pictures were taken by our newspaper.)

Lisa - did you know they mentioned in the newspaper the small children holding flags? I knew they were talking about Addison. Now if they had only snapped a picture for the newspaper of those cute kids! :)
