Brother or Sister

We're not sure yet that Addison knows the difference between "brother" and "sister." We've asked her many times if she wants a baby brother or a baby sister. She always responds with "baby sister." When we explain that a brother is a boy and a sister is a girl, she doesn't seem to care and still says sister. We aren't planning on finding out the gender of the baby, so it will be awhile before she knows!

The other day we ran into a lady from church and Addison informed her that she was going to be a big sister. She then proceeded to tell her that "mommy has a baby in her tummy" and ran up to me and tried to pull my shirt up to show her. How embarrassing!!

The other day Addison was drawing and came running up to me and said she drew a picture of her baby sister. Here it is!

Over the weekend we saw some friends of ours who have a new baby. Addison asked if she could hold him. She was very excited about it because the rest of the day she kept telling me, "I got to hold baby Drew!"
